Hello Everybody,
I am Javier Fuentes the Program Director and Head Coach of NSC.
I have been working in the ski industry for a few years between Chile, United States, Canada, Argentina and New Zealand. I have been fortunate enough to coach the Chilean Junior Team for international races at Whistler Cup and Patagonia Cup. I am very passionate about skiing and I would like to transfer this passion to all our NSC racers!
A bit about my background: My coaching qualifications include certification from Alpine Canada; USSA (U.S. Ski Coaches Association); Profesional Ski Instructors of America; Canadian Ski Instructor Alliance. To compliment my ski qualifications I have diplomas in Sports Medicine, Fitness and Strategic Management.
I have worked developing athletes from U14 to F.I.S. , and train new coaches and instructors.
My goal for NSC is to put in place a program for long term athlete development, where the kids develop skills and friendships for life.
